Company Established
On April 13, 2000, Jideco Technology Services Inc. (JTSI) was officially established in the Philippines. The company began with eleven dedicated staff members, focusing on wiper, washer, and motor groups.
Pioneer Engineers Training
Engineers returned from Japan after undergoing intensive training in automotive motors and parts. Their global exposure and technical expertise prepared them to lead innovation locally and elevate engineering standards.
Office Renovation & Night Shift
To meet the increasing demand from MCJ, MPTC introduced night shift operations. The office was renovated to accommodate the growing workforce and ensure efficiency in production and service delivery.
JTSI became MPTC
JTSI became Mitsuba Philippines Technical Center Corp (MPTC), marking a new chapter of growth and aligning the company more closely with Mitsuba’s global identity.
Office Expansion
An additional 266-square-meter office area was completed at Dusit Thani’s wing, providing more space for collaboration, research, and development to support the company’s growing workforce.
Kaizen Magazine Launch
MPTC released its first corporate magazine, Kaizen, showcasing company updates, innovations, and employee achievements. It became a platform for fostering continuous improvement and community spirit.

Office Expansions
Completed the additional office area of 661 sqm at Dusit Thani's Ayala wing to accommodate the rapid expansion of projects and manpower of MPTC
Mitsuba Teklas Turkey Support
MPTC associate went to MTT (Mitsuba Teklas Turkey) to support and train MTT engineers about development flow, CAD and Analysis, among others.

Adopting to Covid-19 Pandemic
In March 2020, MPTC temporarily suspended operations in compliance with government directives during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Metro Manila. Employee safety and resilience remained the company’s top priorities. Work From Home (WFH) was immediately established during the 2nd week.
Relocation to One Ayala
MPTC relocated to One Ayala in May 2022, resuming full office operations in a modern workspace. The move strengthened collaboration across teams and enhanced operational efficiency.
Leadership Transition
President Susumu Aoki retired in June 2022, and Koji Yamada was appointed as the new President of MPTC, ushering a new era of vision, innovation, and strategic growth.
Intra-Company Employment to MCJ
MPTC members began intra-company employment with MCJ. This initiative strengthened collaboration and ensured reliable support across operations.
